Peter Vágner	ded35e43a0	A11y: repurpose more divs into AccessibleButtons. With this more of the controls that look like buttons can be operated via the keyboard and navigated to by screen reader users. This includes editor buttons such as File upload, Audio / Video call, Right pannel hide button, Jump to the bottom timeline button, and some more buttons found in the user settings. Also I have added alt texts to some images that in turn label buttons which these happen to be packed in and removed some untranslated alt texts from decorative non-actionable images that might add more verbosity when talking about screen reader user experience.	2018-10-02 13:55:24 +02:00

Bruno Windels	f194f323f4	postpone loading the members until the user joined the room when peeking, the members weren't being loaded at all because the room wasn't available yet, and the need for loading the members was never re-evaluated after that. David Baker	9e64a22884	s/DidMount/WillMount/ in MessageComposerInput This fixes the tests that broke with https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-js-sdk/pull/717 This is because of https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/blob/master/test/app-tests/joining.js#L63 which prevents the DOM nodes from actually ending up in the DOM, even though the react components get rendered. This means that WillMount and WillUnmount are called, but not DidMount. Using WillMount is more symmertrical anyway since the resulting teardown code must be in WillUnmount (since there is no DidUnmount).	2018-09-06 11:44:13 +01:00

One of the major problems is the constantly confused presence state - this is caused by the mobile apps conflicting on the state of the web app, causing it to consider the user offline or online (and rarely away) depending on how riot-android/ios is behaving at the time. This reverts two PRs: * https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-react-sdk/pull/1620 * https://github.com/matrix-org/matrix-react-sdk/pull/1482 The changes to the context menu positioning were not reverted as they are useful outside of presence management. Luke Barnard	52af7a7659	Attempt to clarify the affect that the users_default has on power levels This modifies displayed power levels such that: - If users_default is !== 0: - the power level 0 is displayed as "Restricted (0)" - the power level users_default is displayed as "Default ({users_default})" - Otherwise: - the power level 0 is displayed as "Default (0)" When changing users_default, to say, 10, when the textual powers are rendered again, they will take users_default into account. So those previously at 10 and which would have previously have been rendered "Custom of 10" will now read "Default (10)". Naming suggestions welcome: it's currently called ActiveRoomObserver. Avoids passing the selectedRoomId down from MatrixChat all the way through the LeftPanel / RoomList / RoomSubList to the RoomTiles. We also strip the MD links when doing the autocompletion itself (getAutocompleteQuery). Luke Barnard	d3cf78ff5a	Control currently viewied event via RoomViewStore Fix for https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4224 Due to the way `MatrixChat` does a state update when the `view_room` dispatch fires and a second update when `RoomViewStore` sends an update, the current event ID and room ID were becoming out of sync. The solution devised was to have the event ID managed by the `RoomViewStore` itself and do any defaulting there (for when we revisit a room that we saved scroll state for previously). This required a few changes: - The addition of `update_scroll_state` in `RoomViewStore` allows the `RoomView` to save scroll state for a room before swapping to another one. Previously the caching of scroll state was done in `RoomView`. - The `view_room` dispatch now accepts an `event_id`, which dictates which event is supposed to be scrolled to in the `MessagePanel` when a new room is viewed. It also accepts `event_offset`, but currently, this isn't passed in by a dispatch in the app, but it is clobbered when loading the default position when an `event_id` isn't specified. Finally, `highlighted` was added to distinguish whether the initial event being scrolled to is also highlighted. This flag is also used by `viewRoom` in `MatrixChat` in order to decide whether to `notifyNewScreen` with the specified `event_id`.	2017-06-08 14:17:49 +01:00
