Is this safe?

This is a technically a violation of the terms of service of the game, however there have been no reported player bans so far.

Q: Can I get banned if I use this patch?
A: Yes because this is a client modification. However, since the first patch in December 2020 no bans in relation to this patch were reported.

Patch FAQ

We just want to play the game and as such we urge all players who use this patch to not violate any other terms of service of the game by means such as cheating as it will increase the chance of the company being the game taking action, please don't be selfish in this matter :)

How does this work?

The game does not have any official support for Linux and does not run through wine due to the anti-cheat. However there is a workaround patch available which the launcher leverages to execute the game.

Will this work with upcoming versions?

Patches are not universal for every game version and need to be updated with every game version. An unstable patch is usually available on release day but is not recommended for usage. If no issues are recorded the unstable patch will be marked as stable after a couple of days, at which point you can play the game pseudo safely.

Do I have to hide my UID?

It is advised to not public post your UID in the context of running the game on Linux. If you publicly share your UID it will be more likely for you to get hit if or when a certain company decides to take action.

Why do we call the game 'An anime game' and not by the actual name

For the sake of anonymity. We don't want the developers to know because they might or might not like the existence of this and as such we also ask you to avoid the usage of the name of the game or the company directly in public channels in the context of the launcher or running the game on Linux.
