Create a specific type that parses the permissions so we can store
it in a short rather than in a QByteArray
Note: in RemotePermissions::toString, we make sure the string is not
empty by adding a space, this was already existing before commit
e8f7adc7ca where it was removed by mistake.
Some slot were protected or private but needed to be public.
Some needed a static_cast (can't use qOverload because it is in Qt 5.7)
This is not only a partial change.
This is motivated by the fact that QMetaObject::noralizeSignature takes 7.35%
CPU of the LargeSyncBench. (Mostly from ABstractNetworkJob::setupConnections and
PropagateUploadFileV1::startNextChunk). It could be fixed by using normalized
signature in the connection statement, but i tought it was a good oportunity
to modernize the code.
This commit only contains calls that were automatically converted with clazy.
Now that csync builds as C++, this will avoid having to implement
functionalities needed by csync mandatorily in csync itself.
This library is built as part of libocsync and symbols exported
through it.
This requires a relicense of Utility as LGPL. All classes moved into
this library from src/libsync will need to be relicensed as well.
* A bunch of code was determining sync status by ad-hoc comparing some
progress info fields. It can now just check the status, making it
easier to comprehend.
* There's a clear indication for "a new sync is starting", which helps
wiping the issues tab at the right time.
Having to update the plugins to add a submenu in the context menu,
it's more cost-effective to remove support for legacy macOS versions
than implementing and testing this setup.
* SocketAPI has COPL_LOCAL_LINK / EMAIL_LOCAL_LINK commands
* The nautilus and dolphing shell integrations show a submenu from which
one can share as well as access the private link.
* The SocketAPI provides a new GET_STRINGS command to access localized
strings.
* The private link can also be accessed from the user/group sharing
dialog.
* The numeric file id is extracted from the full id to create the
private link url.
Use qCInfo for anything that has general value for support and
development. Use qCWarning for any recoverable error and qCCritical
for anything that could result in data loss or would identify a serious
issue with the code.

This gives more insight about the logs and allow setting fine-tuned
logging rules. The categories are set to only output Info by default
so this allows us to provide more concise logging while keeping the
ability to extract more information for a specific category when
developping or debugging customer issues.

- Use a white icon if the context menu is visible.
- Enable `QIcon::setIsMask` if compiled on Qt >= 5.6 to allow automatic
macOS color handling.
- No changes if the colored icons are used.
Tray: Workaround collection
* QDBus workaround for Qt 5.5.0 only, there were reports of the tray
working fine with 5.5.1. #5164
* OWNCLOUD_FORCE_QDBUS_TRAY_WORKAROUND to force the workaround on an off
* OWNCLOUD_TRAY_UPDATE_WHILE_VISIBLE to enable or disable updating of
the menu while it's visible - disable by default due to problems on OSX and Xubuntu.
* Track the visibility of the tray menu with aboutToShow/aboutToHide
only on OSX - the aboutToHide signal doesn't trigger reliably on linux
* Refactor such that setupContextMenu is different from updateContextMenu
* Don't use on-demand updating of the tray menu when the qdbus workaround
is active, instead to occasional (30s) updates of the tray menu.
This will help moving the SyncEngine construction in the constructor
and allow moving functionalities from Folder to SyncEngine or its
delegated objects.
In particular:
* It's always possible to sign out, even if there's currently a
network problem or the service is unavailable.
* You can only sign in when you explicitly signed out before.
This made no sens. Folders are setup when the account is setup.
Also this had the bad side effect to shut the sync engine too early,
leaving the SyncEngine::_syncRunning to true, and leading to ASSERT later

* Show connection errors for all failing accounts in the tooltip.
* Don't hide the 'service unavailable' state. We don't want intrusive
pop ups, but we don't want to pretend we're syncing when we aren't.
* Show sync-running icon also for SyncPrepare state. In my tests I
very rarely saw the sync-running icon before.
- Make it translatable
- Make use of the %n so that it supports plurals (but this will only
take effect if we have an english translation)
- Only put two units. eg: "5 years 7 months" instead of
"5 years 7 months 12 days 34 minutes 23 seconds"
Even when it is "2 hours 23 minutes" the amount of second does not
matter, especially since the estimation is likely to be boggus anyway

The AccountManager does not belong in the libsync because it is not
part of the synchronisation algorithm, but is just an helper class
for the UI to maintain the account and read/save the config
If a file or directory is shared without resharing permission, the
share dialog displays an error. This is not the optimal solution, but
best for now, as we do not have the permissions available for the file
manager plugin.
This fixes#2923
We are using a QHash to store all the folder objects. This does not allow for
easy sorting and looks weird to the user. Now they are first inserted into a
temp QMap to sort them properly.
* Use a shared pointer to Account everywhere to ensure
the instance stays alive long enough for a sync to terminate
* Folder is now tied to an AccountState
* SyncEngine and OwncloudPropagator tie to an Account and use that
for all jobs they run
Issue: Since the setup wizard currently always replaces the
account, it will always wipe all folder definitions, even when
the actual changes to the account were minor.
This allows all the account state information to live in gui
while the sync-relevant data stays in libsync.
I also moved quotainfo to gui since it depends on the account state.
* Stop the quota job from having an effect on account status
as it can sometimes take a long time to reply. See #2485 and
owncloud/core#12744.
* Instead of indirectly using the quota job, use the connection
validator to regularly ping the server with a basic PROPFIND for
'getlastmodified' on /.
This request was usually fast for users even when the quota PROPFIND
was slow.
- move items on top like on Mac OS (right is free for accounts now)
- The account icon no longer reflects the current status (in prep for multi-account)
The apple build was broken because the elseif in the CMakeLists is never triggered.
Some code was not properly adapted for the new qtmacgoodies.
Some paths were not adapted to new split.
