6cb8b12cda Instead of inserting MD for completion, convert the Entity later 
This makes sure that the length of the range for a completed Entity = the length of the text in the decoration, which apparently draftjs assumes when calculating selection state offsets.

e71df44fc9 Fix /join #alias command in markdown mode 
Tab-completing a room alias inserts a markdown link, which is now stripped before a command is parsed. We also strip the MD links when doing the autocompletion itself (getAutocompleteQuery).

There is still an issue where `/invite` will not work at all with tab-completion - the text of a user Pill is not the userID but rather the display name, which cannot be used as an argument to the command.

143994e44f Use data-offset-key in RTE decorators 
This makes sure the selection state is correct when moving the cursor through an entity in the composer but only in rich text mode. https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4666 still persists despite this, probably because the text content inserted during a completion in markdown mode has a different length to the text node within the entity.

61c16569cb Get user pill profile remote data 
Instead of relying on the local avatar/displayname of a user, request the data from the server and update the pill if it shows up.

This required a slight refactor which means we're not doing everything in `render` now. Also I noticed unknown rooms weren't being rendered _at all_! So now you get something that looks like a normal link but with the room alias/ID in it.

6945fa54ea Reimplement so that only tab-completed mentions are stripped 
Instead of blindly stripping all MD mentions, only strip those that were tab-completed. We do this by adding the `isCompleted` flag to the Entity data.

7db7192701 Factor out shared logic in two code-paths for pill rendering 
This isn't an entirely side-effect-free refactoring:
 - the text of the timeline pills is now either the room ID/alias or user ID/ display name of the linked resource (which means that until we do a roundtrip to get user displaynames, mentions for users not in the current room will have their user IDs shown instead of what was in the link body).
 - timeline links to rooms without avatars are now rendered as links
 - fixed issue that would throw an error whilst rendering (i.e. unusable client) a room link to a room that the client doesn't know about

These will appear decorated because they are inserted as entities. It was necessary to modify pills to have an explicit linkText that is derived from the `href` being pillified (and is thus no longer the inserted completion but rather the display name (or user ID) or room alias.

28c98d93d1 Mimic ctrl+j of RT mode in MD mode 
by inspecting whether multiple lines are selected or the selection is empty. If either of these are true, insert a code block surrounding the selection, otherwise insert single backticks around the selection for inline code formatting.

897ff05d87 Implement composer completion user/room pill insertion 
This modifies the composer completion such that completing a room or user will insert an IMMUTABLE matrix.to LINK Entity for the range that was replaced. Display names will not have a colon after their name anymore as it seemed strange that we would insert one after a pill.

Any links in the composer that are recognised as matrix.to links will be decorated as `<span>`s with CSS classes (one of mx_UserPill or mx_RoomPill). This implementation has the nice bonus that switching to markdown (and back) will Just Work.

This will have some CSS changes coming to better match the design.

Hitting return in a code-block will now split the block into two code blocks. (Holding shift will still insert a soft newline into the current block).

We still need to make it a bit more obvious that consecutive code-blocks

be045a6dc0 Interpret whitespace after entity as the end of the entity 
The easiest way to stop the user from inserting whitespace onto the end of an entity is to toggle the entity state of the whitespace that was just entered. This allows the user to continue drafting a message without editing the link content.

This is for pasted `<a>` tags that have been copied from a website. We probably also want to be storing entities for substrings of content that are determined to be URLs.

55e1202c09 Decorate pasted links so that they look like links 
By default, draftjs will represent pasted `<a>` tags as `LINK` entities, but it doesn't do any default decoration of these links. Add a decorator to do so.

Most of this was taken from https://github.com/facebook/draft-js/blob/v0.8.1/examples/link/link.html (note the version, v0.8.1).

7a8f524f4a Remove two possible sources for the "AutoComplete stays visible bug 
which is now https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4537 <- there.

This does two things:
 - Track which query was the most recent one requesting completion and only process completions for that one. (In this case the empty string "" doesn't have any completions but we still track it so that previous calls with non-empty queries would not race and cause completions to be shown when we actuall don't want any.)
 - Make the "do we want to show the AutoComplete box?" logic a bit more sane

6a2d6b2e6e Fix a React duplicate key error 
If a single message contains the same link twice, we get an error from React
about the clashing keys. De-dup the links to keep it quiet.

084a933dbd Implement MessageComposerStore to persist composer state across room switching 
This behaviour was present in the old composer but implemented using local storage. This is unecessary as we don't really care about our drafts across clients, the important thing is that our draft is kept when switching rooms.

As a bonus, ifnore vertical arrow key presses when a modifier key is pressed so that the room switching keys (alt + up/down arrow) don't also cause history browsing (or autocomplete browsing).

e3f2eb5232 Take RTE out of labs! 🎉 
This stops react-sdk from tracking any state previously stored for the purposes of enabling or disabling the lab feature that enabled the new MessageComposer. It is now enabled permanently.

This is being done with the hope that we can get more feedback for it so that when we release we can be confident that people will be OK with the changes it brings.

664f3acc3c Only move through history if caret at start or end of line 
As suggested by @dbkr (because this is what we do for the old composer), only move through history when the caret is that the beginning of the first line (block) or end of the last.

This has the nice property of being able to move the caret up to a really long message: fixes https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4471

Fixes https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4446 by post-processing the output HTML from draft-js-export-html by replacing `<br>\n` with `<br>`. This works for content within or outside of `<pre>`. If we replace with `\n` instead, the newlines only apply in `<pre>` tags so we use `<br>`.

5307731dfd Overide default draft-js handling of pasting text/html 
This is surprisingly needed to avoid an issue with draft-js that causes multi-line madness when pasting code and then applying format-as-code to it - https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/2120#issuecomment-271735729.

The issue sounds like it is https://github.com/facebook/draft-js/issues/170#issuecomment-195026203 and the suggstion is to override the text pasting handler https://github.com/facebook/draft-js/issues/170#issuecomment-215983216. Meanwhile they haven't modified the default pasting behaviour afaics.

I've discovered a separate issue that is apparent even after this suggested fix. (https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4446)

48c32172fd TextualBody: only highlight code block if language was specified 
The highlight.js autodetection is finicky and often wrong, so disable
highlighting unless the language was explicitly specified, or if the
user has explicitly enabled it in the settings.

9404dd30c5 Use <del> for strikeout 
We've swapped to commonmark, which uses <del> instead of ~~ for strikeout, so make the RTE insert <del> when we apply strikeout. Also, when ~~ is inserted, transform them into <del> for simplicity. This means giving an input of ~~test~~ is effectively the same as giving an input of <del>test</del>.

34caf5586f adds mx_filterFlipColor so that the dark theme will invert this image 
making it more suitable for the said theme

d3cf78ff5a Control currently viewied event via RoomViewStore 
Fix for https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/4224

Due to the way `MatrixChat` does a state update when the `view_room` dispatch fires and a second update when `RoomViewStore` sends an update, the current event ID and room ID were becoming out of sync. The solution devised was to have the event ID managed by the `RoomViewStore` itself and do any defaulting there (for when we revisit a room that we saved scroll state for previously).

This required a few changes:
 - The addition of `update_scroll_state` in `RoomViewStore` allows the `RoomView` to save scroll state for a room before swapping to another one. Previously the caching of scroll state was done in `RoomView`.
 - The `view_room` dispatch now accepts an `event_id`, which dictates which event is supposed to be scrolled to in the `MessagePanel` when a new room is viewed. It also accepts `event_offset`, but currently, this isn't passed in by a dispatch in the app, but it is clobbered when loading the default position when an `event_id` isn't specified. Finally, `highlighted` was added to distinguish whether the initial event being scrolled to is also highlighted. This flag is also used by `viewRoom` in `MatrixChat` in order to decide whether to `notifyNewScreen` with the specified `event_id`.

3b6599dcdc Use user_directory endpoint to populate ChatInviteDialog 
Also attempt to slightly improve the feedback given when searching. There is still room for improvement - it's not totally obvious whether to display a spinner because it's quite jarring were it to replace the dd. This does mean that "No results" will flash awkardly between two queries, neither of which return any results.

This is a URL that can be used to start a chat with a user.
 - If the user is a guest, setMxId dialog will appear before anything and a defered action will cause `ChatCreateOrReuseDialog` to appear once they've logged in.
 - If the user is registered, they will not see the setMxId dialog.

 * Port UserSettingsStore to ES6 exports because the test runner
   gets confused by ES6 importing a commonjs module
 * Remove extra spaces in translations strings for MELS
 * Fix 'his/her' back to be 'their'
 * Change test to expect singular 'invitation' for a single person
   (there may be multiple invitations, but IMO this should be
   'rejected n invitations' and we can play with the wording later,
   I don't think the singular is any worse than the plural).
 * set language in the MELS tests (and wait for it to complete)
 * Don't bother setting lang in other tests for now

298c5e4df3 Implement a store for RoomView 
This allows for a truely flux-y way of storing the currently viewed room, making some callbacks (like onRoomIdResolved) redundant and making sure that the currently viewed room (ID) is only stored in one place as opposed to the previous many places.

This was required for the `join_room` action which can be dispatched to join the currently viewed room.

Another change was to introduce `LifeCycleStore` which is a start at encorporating state related to the lifecycle of the app into a flux store. Currently it only contains an action which will be dispatched when the sync state has become PREPARED. This was necessary to do a deferred dispatch of `join_room` following the registration of a PWLU (PassWord-Less User).

The following actions are introduced:
 - RoomViewStore:
    - `view_room`: dispatch to change the currently viewed room ID
    - `join_room`: dispatch to join the currently viewed room
 - LifecycleStore:
    - `do_after_sync_prepared`: dispatch to store an action which will be dispatched when `sync_state` is dispatched with `state = 'PREPARED'`
 - MatrixChat:
    - `sync_state`: dispatched when the sync state changes. Ideally there'd be a SyncStateStore that emitted an `update` upon receiving this, but for now the `LifecycleStore` will listen for `sync_state` directly.

ad2ed12980 Redesign mxID chooser, add availability checking

Changes:
 - Redesign the dialog to look more like https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/3604#issuecomment-299226875
 - Attempt to fix wrong password being stored by generating one per SetMxIdDialog (there's no issue tracking this for now, I shall open one if it persists)
 - Backwards compatible with servers that don't support register/availability - a spinner will appear the first time a username is checked because server support can only be determined after a request.
 - Rate-limited by a 2s debounce
 - General style improvements

3f25928380 Fix jumping to an unread event when in MELS 
This adds the `data-contained-scroll-tokens` API to elements in `ScrollPanel` which allows arbitrary containers of elements with scroll tokens to declare their contained scroll tokens. When jumping to a scroll token inside a container, the `ScrollPanel` will act as if it is scrolling to the container itself, not the child.

MELS has been modified such that it exposes the scroll tokens of all events that exist within it.This means "Jump to unread message" will work if the unread event is within a MELS (which is any member event, because even individual member events surrounded by other events are put inside a MELS).

The soln. was to submit the dialog as finished `onKeyUp`. This means the `priorActiveElement` is focussed after any key events that should be associated with the dialog.

336462366e Improve country dropdown UX and expose +prefix 
A prefix is now exposed through a change to the API for onOptionChange. This now returns the entire country object which includes iso2, prefix etc.

This also shows the prefix in the Registration and Login screens as a prefix to the phone number field.

9cd7914ea5 Finishing off the first iteration on login UI 
This makes the following changes:
 - Improve CountryDropdown by allowing all countries to be displayed at once and using PNGs for performance (trading of quality - the pngs are scaled down from 32px to 25px)
 - "I want to sign in with" dropdown to select login method
 - MXID login field that suffixes HS domain (whether custom or matrix.org) and prefixes "@"
 - Email field which is secretly the same as the username field but with a different placeholder
 - No more login flickering when changing ServerConfig (!) fixes https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/1517

This implements most of the design in https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/3524 but neglects the phone number login:

da569c2c8d add constantTimeDispatcher and use it for strategic refreshes. 
constantTimeDispatcher lets you poke a specific react component to do something
without having to do any O(N) operations.  This is useful if you have thousands
of RoomTiles in a RoomSubList and want to just tell one of them to update,
without either having to do a full comparison of this.props.list or have each
and every RoomTile subscribe to a generic event from flux or node's eventemitter

ec63e18b42 Show spinner whilst processing recaptcha response 
The fact that we showed no feedback whilst submitting the captcha
response was causing confusion on slower connections where this
took a nontrivial amount of time.

Takes a new flag from the js-sdk that indicates whether the
request being made is a background request, presenting a spinner
appropriately.

7ecabe49d2 Fix people section DropTarget and refactor Rooms 
- Set the verb for the people section to "tag as direct chat". This requires some CSS modifications to Riot because it's a long bit of text relative to, say, "demote".
 - Because it's quite useful to be able to set the DM status of a room with just a boolean, add a convenience function for guessing a DM member and setting the DM flag on that room with the resulting member.

ed22a74eaf Fix People section a bit 
This does two things:
 - Sets `editable` to true for the "People" `RoomSubList` so that people can be dragged to favourites. This has the downside that you can drag a "People" to "Rooms", but it won't set the direct chat flag. This is because im.vector.fake.direct != m.direct, sadly.

439bde309e General ChatInviteDialog optimisations 
- Use avatar initial instead of "R" or "?"
- Use Fuse.js to do case-insensitive fuzzy search. This allows for better sorting of results as well as search based on weighted keys (so userId has a high weight when the input starts with "@").
- Added debounce of 200ms to prevent analysis on every key stroke. Fuse seems to degrade performance vs. simple, non-fuzzy, unsorted matching, but the debounce should prevent too much computation.
- Move the selection to the top when the query is changed. There's no point in staying mid-way through the items at that point.

6af0b9618a first cut of improving UX for deleting devices. 
This adds a 5 minute auth cache to speed up the process of deleting
old devices.  It has the following nastinesses (mainly due to being
written on a flight whilst juggling kids):
 * the auth cache is done as context attached to MatrixChat.
   one could argue that it should be per-client instead, but we don't
   yet have multiple clients.
 * the auth cache is only maintained currently in DevicesPanelEntry
   (i.e. set & invalidated).  One could argue that it might be better
   maintained in InteractiveAuth.js or a dedicated cache object
   abstraction, but given the only use I can think of is when managing
   devices, perhaps this is good enough for now.

6fead66f89 MELS: check scroll on load + use mels-1,-2,... key 
To fix https://github.com/vector-im/riot-web/issues/2916, force the checking of scroll position by calling _onWidgetLoad (might need renaming...) when a MELS is expanded/contracted.

Also use an keying scheme for MELS that doesn't depend on the events contained, but rather a simple incrementing index based on the order of the MELS as it appears amongst all MELS.

79d9deb339 Split out InterActiveAuthDialog 
Into a component that does Interactive Auth and a dialog that
wraps it, so we can do interactive auth not necessarily in a
dialog.

As a side effect:
 * Put the buttons for each auth stage in the stage itself.
   Some stages don't have submit buttons (and it's very possible
   other stages may have other buttons entirely, like 'resend')
   so it makes more sense for the buttons to live in the stage
   components themselves. Plus it saves the slightly evil
   calling-functions-on-react-children thing we were doing (and
   indeed extending that to show the submit button at all).
 * Give all BaseDialogs a cross in the top right to cancel. They
   were all dismissable by clicking outside or pressing esc, so
   this adds a more visually obvious way of dismissing them. Plus,
   it means our InteractiveAuthDialog can have a way of canceling
   the whole operation separate from buttons for the individual
   stages.

d9a8acd431 Redo team-based registration (#657) 
For compatibility with referral campaign flows, re-implement team registration such that the team is selected through providing an email with a known team domain. The support email is now only shown when an email that _looks_ like a UK/US university email address, but is not known.

7b7728c93a Make behaviour of ChatInviteDialog more consistent 
* Pressing enter now always adds whatever was in the input box
   to the invite list, if it's a valid address (previously it
   added it to the list of it was a search result but submitted
   the form straight away if there were no results).
 * Remove isValidAddress as it was only used in the context of
   testing whether its return value was true or null (where null
   meant "unsure") so just use getAddressType instead.

5ef5204c8c Implement simple team-based registration (#620) 
* Implement simple team-based registration

Config required goes in the `teams` top-level property in config.json. This consists of an array of team objects:

```
These can be selected on registration and require a user to have a certain email address in order to register as part of a team. This is for vector-im/riot-web#2940. The next step would be sending users with emails matching the emailSuffix of a team to the correct welcome page as in vector-im/riot-web#2430.

Transition pairs joined,left and left,joined are now transformed into single meta-transitions "joined_and_left" and "left_and_joined" respectively. These are described as "joined and left", "left and rejoined".

Treat consecutive sequences of transitions as repetitions, and handle any arbitrary repetitions of transitions:

...,joined,left,joined,left,joined,left,...

is canonicalised into
...,joined_and_left, joined_and_left, joined_and_left,...

which is truncated and described as
... , joined and left 3 times, ...

This also works if there are multiple consecutive sequences separated by other transitions:

..., banned, banned, banned, joined, unbanned, unbanned, unbanned,...

becomes
... was banned 3 times, joined, was unbanned 3 times ...

d2d78919ce Overhaul MELS to deal with causality, kicks, etc. 
The MELS can now deal with arbitrary sequences of transitions per user, where a transition is a change in membership. A transition can be joined, left, invite_reject, invite_withdrawal, invited, banned, unbanned or kicked.

Repeated segments (modulo 1 and 2), such as joined,left,joined,left,joined will be handled and will be rendered as " ... and 10 others joined and left 2 times and then joined". The repeated segments are assumed to be at the beginning of the sequence. This could be improved to handle arbitrary repeated sequences.

c07e5d4992 Improve the performance of MemberEventListSummary 
- The MessagePanel now uses the same key for the MELS instances rendered so that entirely new instances are not created, they are simply passed new props (namely when new events arrive).
- MELS itself now uses `shouldComponentUpdate` so that it only updates if it is given a different number of events to previous or if it is toggled to expand.

4476b09ce7 Get rid of always-on labs settings 
If the setting is on by default, it's not much use as a Labs setting. The E2e
setting was only confusing everyone anyway.

Also, the net change of nil is detected as having the first and last events being _different_. The summary should only include those that have their first and last events being the _same_ because that is a net change (within the block of member events).

Also, add a tooltip, and enlarge the img to 12px wide, because the open padlock
looked silly at 10px and they both look fine at 12px
