**An Anime Game Linux Launcher** is a launcher for our lovely Genshin Impact that works on Linux. It's written in neutralino (https://neutralino.js.org/) with the usage of TypeScript and SASS
#### How can it work on Linux?
The Anime Game has no official support for Linux and the game's anti-cheat is not allowing you to run the game with wine. However, we have a patch made by someone awesome for the game that can avoid anti-cheat identification and allows you to run the game
The patch is not universal and is created for each new game's version, so every 42 days (default update duration) there will be a new patch and you will not be able to run the game around this time. Mostly it takes a day to make a test version and a week for the test to conclude to release it as stable/tested.
#### Is it safe?
Technically we're violating the TOS, so it will not be sudden if someone ends up banned. However, so far there have been no reported bans
```
Q: Can I get banned if I use this patch?
A: Yes because this is a client modification. However, since the first patch in December 2020 no bans in relation to this patch were reported.
```
Also, We would like to remind you to avoid sending any information that can contain some of your personal data like IP, account's UID, and so on.
#### Is there another launcher on Linux?
Yes, there's another launcher called Paimon Launcher written on QT: https://notabug.org/loentar/paimon-launcher
#### What if I have some questions?
Check the Issues tab if you run into any issues to see if anyone else had or join our [discord](https://discord.gg/ck37X6UWBp) and use the `#support` channel to quickly get your issues and questions answered.
Don't have Discord and don't want to make an account then simply open an Issue here on Gitlab to report bugs and other issues.
#### How can I help with this project?
If you know TypeScript, SASS, HTML, or something related - then obviously you can provide some MRs, help with some issue fixes, and so on
Otherwise, you can help other users with their problems, offer any ideas and suggestions, share this project with your friends or people that want to play the game on Linux but don't know how (but keep in mind all those anonymity things we wrote above) and just be nice and talk with other people. Our discord server is also not only about the launcher, but also about the game, linux, and so on, so feel free to join at any time.
Also, if you want an language translation added feel free to always contribute a translated version of the english file.
